How to choose CRM
software for your business.
A short checklist to run through before you commit to any CRM — not just CRM Force.
Most CRM buying guides are thinly disguised sales pages. This one is a checklist — the same questions worth asking whether you end up choosing CRM Force or something else.
1. Does it handle GST billing natively?
If your CRM can't generate GST-compliant invoices on its own, you'll end up running a separate billing tool alongside it — and re-entering the same customer and product data twice. For an Indian business, GST billing isn't an add-on feature, it's a baseline requirement.
2. Is it built for your industry, or built for everyone?
A generic CRM is a blank slate — powerful, but it means you (or a consultant) have to configure fields, workflows and reports for how your specific business runs. An industry-specific CRM ships with that already done: a restaurant needs KOTs and table billing, a gym needs membership renewals, a jewellery store needs hallmarking and making-charge tracking. Ask any vendor directly: "what does this look like out of the box for a business like mine?"
3. Does it cover staff and inventory, or just contacts?
"CRM" often implies just a contacts-and-deals tool. If you also need to track stock, staff attendance, or payroll, check whether that's genuinely built in — or whether you'll be buying (and syncing) three separate products.
4. What does it actually cost once every module is included?
Per-app or per-seat pricing can look cheap on a landing page and get expensive fast once you add the modules you actually need. Ask for the all-in number, not the entry-tier number.
5. Can you go live without an IT project?
Ask how long setup realistically takes for a business your size. If the honest answer involves a multi-week configuration phase, factor that into your decision — some businesses need that flexibility, others just need to start billing customers today.
6. Is there a real trial, and is your data portable?
A trial that doesn't require a credit card is a good sign the vendor is confident in the product. Also ask directly how existing customer, stock and invoice data gets migrated in — and, just as importantly, exported out if you ever switch.
CRM Force was built around these exact answers: GST billing and inventory built in, pre-configured for 17+ industries, staff attendance with selfie and GPS check-in, ₹9,999/year with everything included, and a 6-month free trial with no credit card required. If you want to see what that looks like for your specific trade, browse the industry pages — each one shows the actual dashboard for that business type.
